Location: Writing Center – Room 208 (upstairs in the
Library)
Learn how to quickly locate and document the reliable and
timely resources you need to support research papers that
will make the grade. A Shasta College librarian will work
with you on an individual basis to access online E-Books,
journal databases, and streaming videos. Come prepared
with assignment guidelines or the first day handouts from
your courses and a willingness to think outside the Google
and Wikipedia boxes. |

the basics…and walk out with the ability to create your own
slide shows! Topics include:
• How to add new slides, text boxes, clip art, design
themes, and beginning custom animation
• Understanding the tabs, ribbon, and launcher buttons
• Saving, editing, and playing slide shows
